Please join us as part of the Battle of Blue Spring's inclusion in the 200th Birthday celebration for President Andrew Johnson, The BBS Planning Committee will feature: Union Soldiers Conquer Greeneville – July 26,2008. East Tennesseans will have an opportunity to embrace the rich heritage of our region as Union Soldiers takeover Greeneville on July 26th, 2008. We are currently working on a very special program for this weekend event. One that will combine the efforts of the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site, The Battle of Blue Springs Planning Committee and the Boy Scouts of America. Please stay tuned to this website for more updates. The Town of Greeneville changed hands more than 30 times during the Civil War and area re-enactors will bring that era to life during this celebration of Andrew Johnson’s 200th Birthday!
